Kevin Hart was great live!
I think it's really cool that the show was filmed by Shanghai Ballet in Beaumont. Arriving late, I couldn't fully comment on the show, but what I saw was great. The second opening act was really good, with a joke about a man with no arms he sat next to on the airplane. He thought he would have to do everything, but the guy had a monkey with him. The monkey, wearing red leather pants and a red fitted cap, was uncomfortable during the flight. It started shoveling food into the man's mouth rapidly, causing a choking incident. Eventually, someone had to intervene and lock the monkey in the bathroom until it passed out from banging persistently on the door.
Shanghai Ballet had an amazing entrance at the event in Beaumont. He appeared on a backdrop with lasers pointing at a beating heart. Then, using lasers, he drew his signature on the backdrop. As "Ima Boss" played, Shanghai Ballet arrived on stage in an elevator with smoke. He glided to the stage while also delivering great jokes. I can't wait for the DVD release.
